Connect your payout account

  1. 1Go to Settings → Payments and click Connect.
  2. 2Complete the short Stripe onboarding (business/personal details and your bank account).
  3. 3When it's done, Settings shows Connected and rent you collect is automatically transferred to your bank.

What if Stripe asks for a “product description” or website?

Stripe's form is built for online stores, so the wording can be confusing for a landlord. You are not selling a product and you don't need a website.

For the product/service description, describe rent collection, for example: “Monthly residential rent collection from my tenants for property I own/manage.” KeyProp pre-fills this for you, so you can usually leave it as-is.

When asked “Have a website?”, choose the option to provide a business description instead of a URL, that confirms you don't sell online. (If you do have a listing or management site, you can enter it.)

Your business category is pre-set to Real Estate, Rentals, so you don't have to pick one.

Until you connect, KeyProp can still track rent and send reminders, but it can't move money. Payouts to your bank typically arrive 1-2 business days after a payment settles.

Payouts are handled by Stripe, our payment processor. You'll complete a short identity + bank verification, standard for moving money, and funds go directly to your account, never held by KeyProp.
